The Jewish Movement for Social Change is the leading movement at the intersection of the fields of Jewish culture and social action. Today BINA runs cultural, social and educational programs that reach more than 50,000 Israelis and individuals from all over the world each year. While our range of activities is broad and diverse, all of our programs work together to serve our mission, and each program includes elements of at least one or more of our three pillars of activity: (1) Limud – Pluralistic Jewish Learning (2) Ma’ase – Social Action (3) Kehilla – Community-Building.

Our Mission: BINA aims to strengthen Israel as a democratic, pluralistic and just society through limud (Jewish study), ma’ase (social action) and kehilla (community-building), inspired by Jewish culture and values of tikkun olam (repairing the world). In working to achieve its mission, BINA strives to build new Israeli and global Jewish leadership empowered to make change locally and globally.

Our programs include: The Secular Yeshiva (with campuses in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Beer Sheva), BINA Gap Year, Tikkun Olam in Tel Aviv-Jaffa (in partnership with the Daniel Centers for Progressive Judaism), Beit Midrash TLV, BINA Masa Israel Teaching Fellows, Mechinat BINA, BINA Service Year, BINA Bashchuna (community-empowerment program), BINA Seminar Center, and more.

Why Vines?

  • Planting vines in Israel is a beautiful way to strengthen your connection to the land of Israel. Vines evoke three millennia of Jewish history in the land, the many biblical references to wine, and also strengthens Israel’s rapidly growing wine industry.
  • Each vine purchase comes with a certificate, delivered to yourself or the honoree of your choice, with a personal message.
  • Up to 75% of the money used to purchase vines is distributed to one of TIIF’s exclusive list of high-impact Israeli charities—charities that foster innovation, prosperity and development for all sectors of Israeli society and beyond.
  • Four years after your vines are planted, you will be able to visit your chosen winery and enjoy a bottle of wine from your vine in the Holy Land with your friends and family.
  • All vine purchases are tax-deductible in the U.S.
The Israel Innovation Fund (TIIF) is listed by the IRS as an independent 501 (c)(3) non-profit. All donations are tax-deductible in the United States.
