Hebrew Wallpaper Project
The Hebrew Wallpaper Project (HWP) inspires, employs and beautifies Israel – it beautifies the country through painted murals and at the same time, employs Israelis artists and uses Israeli art to showcase the communities all around the country.
In creating murals around the country, TIIF has begun planning Israel’s first national art trail, set to begin by 2022 in collaboration with the WZO and Israel’s Tourism Ministry. These large public murals will be built in underserved communities in Israel where access to public art is limited — becoming a lasting source of beauty and connection to the modern Israeli story.
Last winter, HWP employed up and coming Israeli artist Dudi Shoval to paint a mural at the Hafuch Al Hafuch youth center in Ashdod.

Sponsored by NGO ELEM, which offers programs for youth at risk to positively and proactively change their lives, the youth center serves 200 children, offering professional counseling, emotional support and individual mentoring.
To fund the do-good murals around Israel, HWP’s Artist-in-Residence program sells murals of up-and-coming Israeli artists, also providing a living wage plus materials and studio expenses to such Israeli artists who have shown success in Israel and embody a fresh artistic message.
